The addition of an Emergency Response component ensures quick and effective support during sudden crises such as floods, conflict, or displacement. Immediate food or cash assistance prevents harmful coping strategies and stabilizes affected families.
Over the course of the 12-month implementation period, the project will enhance household resilience, encourage sustainable practices, and contribute to long-term stability and improved quality of life for communities in Kunar and Nangarhar

The inclusion of BSFP (Blanket Supplementary Feeding Program) foods will play a crucial role in improving beneficiaries' nutrition and health, addressing malnutrition and enhancing overall well-being. These assistance efforts will enhance the beneficiaries' overall lifestyle, improving their quality of life. Community resilience will be strengthened through the establishment of savings groups and emergency plans, with an emphasis on improved nutrition and overall resilience. The project’s 12-month support will focus on long-term benefits, promoting sustainable practices and investments in local agricultural production.
